Tara of Scoutie Girl has kindly featured my work several times in the past. Two weekends ago she stopped by my table at the From Scratch show and did a little video interview with me.

Warning: saying something intelligent about myself on the spot is not something I'm very good at, especially in front of a camera, but I'm grateful for Tara's continued support (and for editing out the part where my mind goes blank and I throw up my hands in despair)! Lemon, Lemons, Lemons...

From lemon icing to lemonade, check out this sweet-tart treasury put together by Annamaria Potamiti! It's funny that lemons seem to be the theme for the week because a little over a week ago I hit a major speed bump concerning production. Most of the pep-talks I received (thanks everyone) usually included the sage advice that "when life hands you lemons, make lemonade." I like this week's lemons much better; things are looking up.

Yummy Mother's Day!

My daughter Anna surprised me on Sunday with this beautiful and delicious carrot cake! It had lemon icing which I think I like better than the traditional cream cheese. Check out her super cool decoration. I feel very very lucky!
